TO CLEAN WHITE SERGE.
Warm dry salt or ground rice will clean a white or light serge costume. Rub it'well into the garment to be cleaned. Use a folded linen handkerchief or a piece of white flannel for a pad. Afterwards put the garment on a hanger, leave for an hour or two, and then brush thoroughly with a clean brush.
