AUCKLAND, Tuesday. A reflex of the political rumours was furnished at this . morning's call of the Auckland Stock Exchange, when the f ollowing message wa's received from Mr. Harman Reeves, pte$ident of the New Zealand Stock Excharige Association (Dunedin) : — -"As all the other Metropolitan Exchanges agree that the present method f of adjustipg the interest of Government and other loans is undesirahle, in view of -possible legislation, all .transactions of .this nature on and after Tuesday, March 15, are to. be cum coupon— viz., no interest adjustment immediately. Advi.se your country members. Am advising the Australian Exchanges." As was the case yesterday the market for Government stocks and local body debentures was in a ehaotic condition. A few formal quotations were put in hy sellers, but there were. no buyers, and any quotations made, therefore, were merely nominal,
