KINGSFORD SMITH MAY MAKE TRIP FROM SYDNEY TO AUCKLAND FILMS OF BRIDGE OPENING '

WELLINGTON, Thursday. A trans-Tasman flight, with Auckland as the objective, may be undertaken after the official opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Saturday, March 19. The primary aim of the proposed flight is the delivery of motion picture films of the ceremony for inspection in New Zealand cities on the Monday afternoon. Air Coipmodore Kingsford Smith, who crossed the Tasman to Christchurch in the monoplane Southern Cross in 1928, may again be the pilot. - -
