vessel reduced to mass of floating wreckage OWNER'S HEAVY LOSS AUCKLAND, last night. The Norwegian yaeht, Teddy, which v/as wrecked on the rocks off Kawau Island, has been reduced to floating wreckage. The owner, Mr. Erling Tambs, and his wife and family returned to Auckland to-night. None are suffering from severe injuries, but Mrs Tambs is badly bruised as a result of the buffeting she received in the surf. Mr. Tambs has lost the manuscript of the hook he was writing of his voyage around the world. His plans are now indefinite. He had no insui'ance on the vessel. He has received many offers for assistance.
