bay of plenty poultry pigeon and cage bird club ELECTION OF OFFICERS
WHAKATANE, Monday. At the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Poultfy, Pigeon and Csge Bird Club, the president, Mr. W. G. Cartwright, presided over a large gathering. Stress was laid by the president on the need for the co-operation of all poultry breeders to keep the club alive. Sixty first prizes had been secured by local members at outside shows. A recommendation was passed tliat the club affiliate with the New Zealand Poultry Association. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr. W. Sullivan (re-eleeted) ; president, Mr. W. G. Cartwright (re~ elected) ; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. G. Howat and R. F. Smith; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. Adler; auditor, Mr. E. W. Newton; eomnr'ttee, president, secretary, and Messrs. H. Carr, G. Ansell, N. Bracken, E. W. Newton and R. F. Smith.
