AUCKLAND, Monday. The appeal by the leading New Zealand jockey, Hector Gray, against his* suspension for, three monjhs by the judieial committee of the Te Aroha Jbckey Cluh, in conriection with the riding of Antique in the Presiderit's Handicap on Fehruary 29, was upheld hy the Auckland District Committee of the New Zealand Racirig Conferenee, anf the deposit of £5 lodgeff by Gray was refunded. Gray made a statement to the Committee and called three witnesses, Mr. F. Earl, K.C., Mr. W. C. Ring senior, and Mr. J.H. Wallace, the owner and trainer of Antique.
