A. AND P. ASSN. COMMITTEE MAKES PRELIMINARY ARRANGEMENTS QUESTION OF JUDGES A meeting of the general committee of the Rotorua A. and P. Association was held last night when matters in connection with the forthcoming show fixture were discussed and preliminary arrangements made. The president of the association Mr. H. P. Ford, was in the chair. Messrs H. P. Pord, E. T. Johnson, and E. La Trobe Hill were appointed a sub-committee to report in connection with a suitable site for the show and a convenient date for the fixture. The question of the school garden' competition was deferred until the return of Mr. G. Steele who has been interesting himself in the matter. The stewards who acted at last year's fixture were re-appointed. Messrs G. J. Ford and Gunsori were appointed as stewards for the fields classes, Mr. Gunson to replace Mr. C. S. Dalgleish who intimated that he would prefer to withdraw in order to give his full attention to the fields competition. 'It was left to the secretary and ' the stewards to go into the question of Judges* appointments, and submit a list for the approval of the general committee. It was decided this year to appoint separate judges for the field and garden sections.' II -,va also resolved as a general principle that the judges be changed as far as possible from year tc year.
