THEFT OF BEER
PLEA OF GUILTY ENTERED HAMILTON, Tuesday. A middle-aged man, Mr. John BoX, vas admitted to probation for one "ear by Mr. Justice Smith, in tho Supreme Gourt at Hamilton to-day, 'or breaking, entering and theft at Ohura on J anuary 23. The prisoner leaded guilty to breaking and enter*ng a shop and stealing 21 bottles of beer, valued at £2 6s 6d.
