As to anglihg in the Teviot district $ cdrrespondent of the ptago Acclimatjsation Society writes: — "One fishernian (Mr. Fairbaifn) caught :in, tjie Roxburgh Lagoon for the week nine fjsh (281b), including two 511) -rainbow. These were taken at dfiylight, Other catche? this .week were three weighing 101b, two weighing 51b, and two weighing 31b. These were got in • the evening, all in perfect vondition. The upper reaches of the Teviot are giving fairly good results."
