STEAMER ASHORE
CREW SAFE BUT VESSEL PROBABLY TOTAL LOSS Rec. Feb. 21, 12.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Sunday. The Patrick Company's inter-state freight steamer, Northern Firth of 2.000 tons, went ashore on Brush Island, near Jervis Bay this afternoon, and is reported likely to be a total loss. The crew are safe, but there are no details.
