BOARD APPOINTED FOR SOUTH AUCKLAND AREA WELLINGTON, Saturday. The three members of the newlyconstituted No. 3 Licensing Authority to eontrol the whole off the Sottth Auckland district havb' Ipe'n appointed. It is known for certain that Mr. F. J. Farrell, of Hamilton, aqd Mr. E. L. Walton, of Ngatea, will be two of the members. The secretary will be Mr. H. R. Nees, of the Public Works Department, Hamilton. Formerly the No. 3 Licensing Authority comprised th'e Hamilton Borough Council and the district was much smaller than that which the authority will eontrol. The following counties will be included in the district — Franklin, Raglan, Waipa, Waikato, Hauraki Plains, Coromandel, Thames, Ohinemuri, Pifcko, Tauranga, Matamata, Rotorua, Taupo, Whakatane, Opotiki, and all the boroughs, towns and districts therein.
