OTAGO DISMISSED FOR 211 OPENING AGAINST WELLINGTON
EARLY ROT SETS IN DUNEDIN, Friday. The Plunket Shield match between Otago and Wellington commencd this afternoon, after a delay of three hours owing to rain. The wicket was soft and easy. .Otago batted first and made 211, after losing seven wickets for 64. Dickenson 52 and Maloney 55, stopped the rot just in time. Wellington commenced their innings at 5.40, and at stumps had lost no wickets for nine runs.
