CROQUET

MRS. KIBBLEWHITE WINS ASSN. SILVER CUP FINAL The South Auckland Croquet tournament was completed in the Rotorua 1 Government grounds yesterday when Mrs. Kibblewhite, the ex-New Zealand lady croquet singles champion, won the Sofith Auckland championship silver cup event. Mrs. Tucker, of the Domain Croquet Club, Cambridge, was the runner-up. These ladies undoubtedly deserved their respective wins, Mrs. Kibblewhite and Mrs. Tucker being the finalists in two out of the three lives played. In the other life Mrs. Kibblewhite and Mr. Managh were the finalists. Mr. Managh defaulted to Mrs. Kibblewhite, the winner of the first life, and Mrs. Kibblewhite defeated Mrs. Tucker in the second life, winning the title.
