HUSBAND OBJECTED TO WIFE'S CAT AS A BEDFELLOW AUCKLAND, Thursday. John Edward Ashworth was granted a decree nisi in a divoree petition in the Supreme Court to-day, on the ground of agreement to separate. In evidence he said he was married in Lancashire in 1888. There had been much trouble because of his wife's habit of taking the cat to bed with her. More than once it had kittens in the bed. The wife in evidence admitted that she had let the cat sleep in the bed, but said her husha'nd had not complained. The cat had had kittens in bed once or twice.
