Improvements to Rotorua Streets

A systematic scheme for clearing and improving the streets, is being carried out by the Rotorua Borough Council by means of unemployed labour. Yesterday, workmen were engaged filling up several bad holes in the bitumen surface of Arawa Street, and also clearing some loose metal, which was becoming a nuisance at the intersection' of Tutanekai and Pukuatua Streets. The Council also contemplates improvements to sections of the following streets: Ranolf, Eruera, Pukuatua, Haupapa, Amohau, and Pererika.
