Oddfellows Visit Whakatane

The Geyser Lodge, No. 5D I.O.O.F., of Rotorua, paid a friendly visit to the Centetiary Lodge, No. 46, Whakatane, on Monday evening. The trip was greatly appreciated by members of the party,- many of whom were seeing the famous Hongi's Track for the first time. The visitors were given a hearty reception on arrival at the lodge room in Whakatane, the brothers of the Centenary Lodge doing everything in their power to ensure the successful entertainment of their guests. The Whakatane Lodge is to be ccfigratulated upon the enthusiasm, of its members. The evening was spent in dancing, games, and cards, while the sisters of the Rebekah Lodge did their share in the entertainment. The Whakatane Oddfellows will pay a return Visit to Rotorua in the near future.
