WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES The final unofficial point scores for the winter olympic games at Lake Placid, are as follows: United States, 103; Norway, 77; Canada, 49; Sweden, 26; Finland, 25; Austria, 15; Germany, 12; France, 10; Switzerland, 9; Hungary, 7; Rumania, 4; Poland, 3; Italy, 3; Belgium,l; Czechoslovakia, 1. Britain and Japan failed to score. The points were allotted on the basis of 10 for a first, five for a second, and four, three, two , and one respectively for the remainder of the six finishers in each championship event.
