smart frocking CONCLUDING DAY OF RACES SHOWS MANY CHIC ENSEMBLES UNFAV OURABLE CONDITIONS Although weather conditions yesterday scarcely favoured the social aspects of the concluding day of the Rotorua Racing Club's Annual Meeting, feminine fashions again braved the threatening elements. Umbrellas and "macs" were necessarily much in evidence, but the showers were fortunately only intermittent, and smart frocking .had not altogether to be hidden against the weather.
