SYDNEY CLOUDBURST

SOME STREETS FOUR FEET SUBMERGED IN WATER SYDNEY, Tuesday. Early this morning a cloudburst fiooded the northern districts of Sydney. . In some places the water in the streets is four feet deep, the drains being incapable of earrying the water away. Trams and cars were brought to a standstill. Maiiy residents spent the early hours of the morning in trying to keep the water out of their homes. One boardinghoiise was fiooded to a depth of three feet.
