Speaking at the meeting of the Unemployment Committee on Tuesday evening, the Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson, stated that a regular distribution of vegetables was being made from the community garden, but he regretted to refer to the fact that there had -been much pilfering from the garden. Not only have vegetables been stolen, but senseless d^mage has been done by pulling up young plants.
