INDIAN ASSEMBLY REJECTS VOTE OF CENSURE ON GOVERNMENT GANDHI'S SON ARRESTED CALCUTTA, Wednesday. The Indian Assembly rejected by 62 votes to 44 votes the Opposition censure motion in (conneetion with the promulgation of the recent emergency ordinances and the arrest of Gandhi and other Congress leaders, thus vindicating the Government's policy. Gandhi's son, Debi Das, was arrested at a railway station in the Punjab while en route to the north-west frontier.
