4 eggs, | cupful cold water, - teaspoonful salt, i cupful castor sugar, 15 teaspoonfuls baking powder, teaspoonful vanilla essence, 15 cupfuls flour. Beat eggs and sugar together till honey coloured. Stir in the water and the flour, the baking powder -and sblt -siftcd -together, • then the vanilku Bake in a buttered baking tin in a'moderate" ove'n for ' about -20 .to 30 . minutes,.
