SURPRISE SARDINES
Ingredients. Half-dozen hard-boiled eggs, h dozen sardines, loz. butter, lemon juice, salt and pepper, parsley. Method: Boil the eggs for 15 minutes; put into cold water. When cold, shell carefully; cut each egg in half. Take out the yolks without brealcing the whites. Bone and chop the sardines. Mix with the yolks of eggs, . butter and seasonings. Fill the whites with this mixture; put the two whites belonging to each egg together so that they look like whole eggs. Dish in a circle standing up. Cut the end of each egg to make them stand. Garnish the centre and round with parsley and serve hot.
