FOUR PERSONS DEAD AND WORK STOPPED IN N.S.W. MORTALITY AMON'GST STOCK

SYDNEY, Saturday. As a result of the terrific heat in the eountry districts of New South Wales four persons have died; also a large number of cattle, fowls and birds. The heat is so intense that men working in the open were forCed to stop work for several hours. Collarenabri topped the list with 120 degrees. -Many other towns regisfered over 110 degrees.
