SPONGE PUDDING WITH FUDGE SAUCE
4 eggs, h cupful cold water, - teaspoonful salt, i cupful castor, sugar, 15 teaspoonfuls baking powder, 5 teaspoonful vanilla essence, 15 cupfuls flour. Beat eggs and sugar together till honey coloured. Stir in the water and the flour, the bak-* ing powder and salt sifted together, then the vanilla. Bake in a buttered baking tin in a moderate oven for] about 20 to 30 minutes. When cold,] cut into squares and serve with/i fudge sauce. II.
