WHAKATANE, Saturday. The Whakatane Cycling and Athletic Club held a combined cycle and t'unning meeting on the Whakatane Domain before a large attendance to-day. Following are the results: — Cycling One mile: W. Hansen, 35yds 1, D. Aberhart 35yds, 2; F. Roherts 120 yds 3d. Time 2.38 2-5. Three Miles: D. Aberhart, 75yds, 1; W. Hansen, 100yds 2; F. Roberts 320yds 3. Time 8.9 3-5. Running 100 Yards: C. Oswald 10yds, 1; S. Pyne 4yds 2; E. White scr 3. Time 10 2-5see. 880 Yards: J. Stevens 60yds, 1; S. Pyne 5yds 2; B. White 35yds 3. Time 2.12 4-5.
