police superintendent shot dead at club REVOLUTIONARIES ARRESTED

Rec. Jan. 24, 5.0 p.m. CALCUTTA, Saturday. Police Superintendeht B. J. Shooter, who was trahsferred froni Chittagong to Caicutta, following the Governmeiit ihquiry into the Hindu-Mos-lem fiots at Chittagong last year, was found shot dead at the United Service Club with a revovler at his side. A young revolutionary, Yashpal, was arrested at Allahbad, at the hoilse occufiied by a European woman theosophist, who is married to an Indian. When the door was opened to admit the police ,a party of revolutionary suspects fired six Shots, but the police were uninjured. A man and woman wdre arrested and a large quahtity of arms and ammunition was seized.
