11b. flour, £lb. butter, £lb. sugar, 11b. currant, 11b. raisins, 2 tablespoons vinegar, 2 teaspoons soda, 1 cup milk, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ginger. Bake 2 hours in a moderate oven.
