NOTICE TO ADVERTISERS. Instructions as to the insertion or withdrawal of Advertisements in "The Morning Post" must be in writing. Advertisements received without such instruction will be inserted until countermanded and charged accordingly. Alterations to Standing Advertisements should be handed in by 12 o'clock THE DAY BEFORE they are required to appear. Advertisers in the country can remit payment by Money Order or Postage Stamps. Any person writing to "The Morning Post" Office for information in regard to advertisements already appearing in the paper must send stamped addressed envelope in order to ensure reply. For the convenience of advertisers, replies to advertisements may be sent to "The Morning Post" Publishing Olfice, but the Proprietors do not ac^ept any responsibility in this respect. While every care is exercised in regard to the insertion and classificacion of advertisements, the Proprietors do n«t hold themselves responsible for errors or the non-insertion through accident or from other causes, and the Proprietors reserve to themselves the right of omitting advertisements that they may deem objectionable, even although such advertisements may have "been received and paid for in the usual coui-se of business. "Mid-Victorian doctors had a habit of condemning' anything- that made life tolerable," wrote Dr. Fredericlc Graves, in the London "Daily Express" recently, adding-, "the new school of medicine takes a different view. It has come to rec-ognise that tobacco, for instance, is a great solace in times of worry,_ and for many a direct. aid to mental effort and concentration." The doctor, however, is keenly alive to the danger from excess of nicotine in tobacco. "Pure nicotine," he states, "like strychnine and arsenic, is now known to he a deadly poison." It is. And what is more, practically all the brands in every-day use contain more or less of this vile stuff. The most notable exception is found in the New Zealand tobacco which, put through a eostly purifying process in the course of manufacture (toasting), is rendered practically free from nicotine and is consequently harmless to the smoker. The process also gives this famous tobacco its world renowned flavour and peerless bouquet. Note carefully there are only four brands: Riverhead Gold, Navy Cut No. 3, Cavendish and Cut Plug No. 10.
