Sir Alfred and Lady Bankart, who have been visiting Rotorua, have returned to Auckland. Mr. Crawford, of Auckland, is at the Palace Hotel. Mr. D. Turpin, of Whakatane, is staying at the Palace Hotel. Mr. D. Barrett, of Auckland, is at the Palace Hotel. Dr. Rice, of Gisborne, Mr. and Mrs, Little and family, of New Plymouth, Dr. Rogers and family of Hamilton, and, Mr. and Mrs. Moffatt and family, of Waiuku, are at their Rotoma fishing lodges. Miss B. Kerr, of Timaru, who has been spending a short holiday in Auckland is visiting Rotorua. She will also visit the Chateau Tongariro, and after a brief stay in Wellington will return home. Mr. E. Rosie, of Gisborne, is at Park Yiew. Mr and Mrs T. Hickling, Mr T. G. Hickling and Miss L. Hickling, of Hastings, are staying at the Hotel Australia. Mr. I. Crafts, of Gisborne, is among those at Park Yiew. Mrs Whittington and Mr C. Whittington, of Hawera, are at Park Yiew. Mrs R. Heighway, of Hastings, arid Mrs D. R. Hunter, and Mrs M. Hunter, of Auckland, are at the Hotel Australia Messrs K. Searle and A. O. Searle, of Auckland, are staying at the Hotel Australia. Mr T. H. Bull, of London and Mr R. Hodgson, of Whakatane, are at the Hotel Australia. Mrs Bart Clark, of Auckland and Miss M. Higgins, of Auckland, are at Lake House Hotel. v Mr M. Brown, Miss M. F. Drysdale and Dr. and Mrs Bennet Clark, of Edinburg, Scotland, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. H. G. Briant and Mr R. K. Simpson, of Marton, and Mr I. Crawford, of Auckland, are at Brent'si Bathgate House. ' Captain T. V. Hill, of R.M.S. Niagara, and Mrs Hill, of Sydney, are staying at the Grand Hotel.

G. Thompson, the wellknown water diviner, of Rotorua, has just returned from a visit to Otahuhu, where he has been engaged investigating the water supply for that borough.
