COUNTY AFFAIRS

HIGHWAY.

Sir, — I was surprised that your correspondent, "Mickey the Mouse," did not know there was a county council in existence, although perhaps not very active, and its inactivity evideritly leads your correspondent to the conclusion that there was not a county council looking after the county affairs. If so, what would he suggest in the matter. — I am, etc.
