ing for the payment of £14,000 for his basehall seyvices in 1932. He said that the proposed .£2000 reduction on last year's payment was acceptable, hut he must have a twq year's contract. The haseball club management recently declared: "Never again will there be a bail player worth £16,00 0." An amicable adjustment is expected.
