CANBERRA, Friday. Representations by the chairman of the Commonwealth Banlc Board, Sir Robert Gibson and the Governor of the Bank, Mr. E. G. Riddle, resulted in the hiasty cancellation of a Cabinet meeting and a conference between the leaders of the Government, Messrs J. A. Lyons, J. G. Latham, and S. M. Bruce. The Ministers later met Sir R. Gibson and Mr. Riddle and foy some ho.urs traversed the whole of the Gommon•we.alth finances. ■ It is understood that particular at--tention was paid to the financial sitp? ation in New South Wales.
