Rpc. Jan. 16, 12.47 a.m. SINGAPORE, Friday. Air Co'mmodore Kingsford Smith, with mails for Australia, arrived this afternoon in the Southern Star. He leaves fbr Batavia to-morrow. He saw Colonel Brinsmead in hospita] at Bangkok^ The patient is slightly better and is able to converse more freely, but his mind is a blank concerning the accident. He' is unaware that five people were killed when he was injured.
