Rec. Jan. 13, 7.15 p.m. SHANGHAI, Wednes. A desperate action took place near Hsinlintun, where several thousand bandits attacked Japanese troops. Four Japanese officers and 30 soldiers were killed and the remainder were wounded. Many parts of the city were burned.
