Rec. Jan. ;13, 7.15 p.m. ' ' SHANGHAI, Wednes. A serious clash occurred with the Chinese. military when over 100 Japanese invaded the, ofiice of the official newspaper "Minkoujipao" at Tsingtao and attacked the sftaff with kpives and clubs. They also wrecked the machinery and set fire to the premises. The attack was a result of the publication of an editorial deploring the failure of the attempt to assassinate the Japanese Emperor. Several Chinese were wounded.
