So far this season there has been r much favourable weather for picnics, I and now the New Year is with us j one may expect in every 'suitable j place to see the snowy tabljeeloth j spread upon the rustling grass. One J thing that makes a picnic enjoyable J is the absence of ceremony and con- | vention. But certainly the food should I be daintily put together. One practi- j cal detail that makes it nieer is the use of greaseproof paper for meats and other greasy fare.
