Ingredients. — One dessertspoon butter, 2 tablespoons cooked ham finely chopped, 2 eggs, 11 tablespoons cold • water, pepper and salt, hot buttered toast. Method. — Melt butter in a small pan, add the chopped ham, stir over a gentle heat till blended with the butter. Add the eggs slightly beaten mixed with the cold water. Stir until the egg is cooked, using moderate heat so that the egg will not become tough. Add a little pepper and salt if necessary. Serve on hot buttered toast.
