SEVERAL NEW GUISES FOR THE LEFT-OVER HAM.
=? TOMATO SOUP with GREEN PEAS. Ingredients — Cooked hamhone, 1 bayleaf, 1 sprig of parsley, 1 . carrot,' 1 ! onion, 2 peppercorns, 1 tablespoon butter, 5 cups water, h dozen toma- , toes cooked to a pulp and strained, 1 1 cup cooked peas. Method. — Put all the ingredients excepting tomato pulp and peas into a saucepan- and simmer for one hour, then strain. Add to the soup the cooked peas and the tomato pulp, and cook for five minutes longer. Season to taste.
