DEPOSITORS IN RURAL BRANCH TO SHARE BENEFITS i FIXED DEPOSIT TERMS SYDNEY, Thursday. The Rural Bank will share in the extension of facilities accorded to the depositors in the New South Wales Savings Bank. Its fixed deposits which were capitalised, bearing interest at 3 per cent. were talcen over by the Commonwealth Bank and 10 per cent. of the money was made available to depositors on December 15. It has now been decided that the balance to the credit of the accounts of fixed depositors shall be converted to the extent of 50 per cent .-fixed deposit for twelve months, bearing' 32 per cent. and 50 per cent. for two years bearing 4 per cent. interest.
