BRISBANE, Tues. Tearing Betty Doherty, aged four, from the arms of her brother, aged 12, on the feanks of the Seymour River, a crocodile flung the child into the river, sidled after her and disappeared with the little girl. The pair had been sitting on the hank of the- river when a fourteen-foot monster was seen by the boy to he crawling towards them. Before he could escape the crocodile seized his sister T>y the leg, and threw her into the stream. An exhaustive search proved fruitless.
