PERIOD INFLUENCES
Period influences, which are derived from various eras and usually described as "modified in lines" for modern interpretations, are given full play in evening gowns. There are reports of draped fullness, either at the front or in puffs, or in puffs and ornamental folds, draping from the side towards the back. Then again others talk of sleekly-fitteid, long lines, which admit fullness s'et very lown down, but there are so many variations that individuality will be developed to a marked degree.
