FAREWELL PARTY

Mrs. E. C. Hetherington, who is leaving Rotorua to take up her residence in England, and Mrs. A. R. Ryder, who has since left Rotorua for Whangarei, were the guests of honour at a delightful party, given by Mrs. S. H. Hay, at her residence in Fenton Street, last Friday afternoon. The flowers used for decorations were mainly dahlias and roses, whle blue and pink larkspur and multicoloured sweet peas lent an added touch of daintiness. Mrs. Hay was gowned in blush rose floral ninon, Mrs. Hetherington, in black crepe de chine, and Mrs. Ryder in cerulean blue floral georgette. Among those present were: — Mrs. R. Griffith, Mrs. S. L. Paterson, Mrs. F. W. Willde, Mrs. H. Goodwin, Mrs. Budd, Mrs. A. G. Holland, Mrs. R. Cop.eland-Smith, Mrs. A. C. Randerson, Mrs. H. J. Foster, Mrs. C. L. Knight, Miss Evans, Miss B. Hetherington, Miss Morris (London).
