RE-ERECTED IN PICCADILLY CIRCUS GLEAMS IN SILYER BEAUTY

Rec. Dec. 28, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Monday. London's mascot, Gilbert's aluminium statue of Eros, was re-ereeted in Piccadilly Circus at midnight. The statue was removed in 1925 during the reconstruction of the underground station. It has been cleaned and now gleams in its silvery beauty.
