Rec. Dec. 27, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Saturday. The "Sun's" Canberra correspondent says that there is talk of an influential move'to restore the former basis of appointment of GovernorsGeneral. It is even.suggested that Sir Isaac Isaacs, the only Australian-born citizenAo hold the office, may resign within a few months to be succeeded by an English peer. The correspondent also predicts that Mr. W. M. Hughes will shortly be announced as High Commissioner in London to succeed General Sir G. Ryrie, whose five-year term expires in April.
