DISPLAY AT SMITHFIELD WINS PRAISE FROM EXPERTS SPLENDdD ADVERTISEMENT

LONDON, Monday. Australian and New Zealand pork had a splendid advertisement when Mr. J. H. Thomas, Minister fpr the Dominions, visited Smithfield and inspected the special Christmas display by Messrs Symons and Swain, Limited, of the Empir« Pork House. Mr. Thomas distributed the medals won in the competition as follows: — Australia. — Fitzroy, 1; Anchor 2. New Zealand. — Waione, 1; Auckland Farmers', 2. A number of experts were present and were greatly pleased with the quality. . The gathering included Sir Thomas Wilford (High Commissioner for New Zealand), Sir G. Ryrie (High Commissioner for Austrdlia), Sir Gordon Campbell (chairman of Weddel and Company, Limited), and a dozen Press photographers. The. British Movietone News will show the film throughout the country.
