Rec. Dec. 21, 10.15 p.m. SYDNEY, Monday. The buoyant re-action to the election has continued and the closing quotations for leading stocks are as follows : — Commonwealth 4 per cent, 1948: £93 15s, rise 20/-. Commonwealth 4 per cent., 1955, £92 7s 6d, rise 22/6. Commonwealth, 4 per cent., 1961, £92 5s, rise 5/-. Bank of New South Wales, £31 17s 6d, rise 10/-. Insurance Stocks rose 6d all round. Industrial showed a small upward improvement.
