LARGE NEW AMERICAN LINER TOTALLY DESTROYED IN DOCK READY FOR LAUNCHING

Rec. Dec. 21, 10.15 p.m. NEW YORK, Sunday. A report from Newport News, Virginia, states that the United Mail Steamship Company's new 3,525,000 dollar liner, Segovia, which was to have been launched on January 30, was destroyed at the dock by a fire.
