GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT Charles Rogers, % that handsome young favourite of film fandom, whose sparkling zest made his name a household word in such comedies as "Safety in Numbers," "Follow Thru," and "Heads Up," will renew acquaintance with audiences at the Grand. Theatre to-night when he will appear in Paramount's 'Along Came Youth," a refreshing romance comedy of sporting (and kitchen), life in jolly old England. In "Along Came Youth," Rogers is seen as young sportsman, stranded in London, after a series of reverses with his string of blooded horses at the race-tracks. Forced to take a job as a chef in the baronial mansion of a visiting millionaire, he bluffs his way through the culinary duties. abetted by the comical blunderings of his trainer, Stuart Erwin. There's a girl at a neighboring mansion, with whom he falls in love; and there are any number of mirthprovoking events, built round the bizarre situations of the play. The finale is a thrilling steeple- , chase, in which Rogers rides his fav- , orite hunter to fame and fortune.
