KINGSFORD SMITH NOT TO CROSS TURKISH, . TERRITORY AIR MINISTRY'S FEARS

LONDON, December 18. Fearing complications in the event of a forced landing the British authortiies have requested Air-Commodore Kingsford Smith not to fly over Turkish territory on his return trip with the Australian air mails. Consequently he will take one of the several longer alternative routes.
